Porl rig

Hello everyone thanks for visiting this site , this site is made for you to download and use free character from our character library, keep visiting our site for brand new rigs for blender and we try to upload as many as we could in this site so you guys could take it for free and use it in your animation practise

Contains 3 characters, including my old Porl character (but refined a tad bit and dressed).

Press N to open up all the UI options. The foot roll, finger rolls and face controls are all there using sliders, just select the right bones to see them. The IK/FK, stretch controls and layers are always there though. If you want to keyframe one of the sliders just hover your mouse over it and press I to insert a keyframe.

If you want to add your own clothing, just delete all the clothing parts, select the main mesh and remove the mask modifier to reveal the whole body.

The rigs are all the same and consistent too, have fun.

Also, make sure your Armature name is always Porl_Rig or Ed_Rig or Elaine_Rig depending on what character you're using, or else you won't see all the UI controls. If you're planning to link the characters into a scene and then making a proxy for the armature, it'll remove the _Rig part and add _Proxy so make sure to rename it.

All the rig has consistency in them so its super helpful to use all the them together at one project.The features and qualities of these rigs are verymuch similar to eachother and are identical in them

This rig is cc-0 liscense which means you can completely own the character and use it for any purpose with no restriction,you can learn more about creative common liscens at:About The Licenses - Creative Commons

The facility of the rigs include things like

IK_FK switch ,Leg and arm stretch and bone layers that allows you to filter the unnecessary bones and only work with the bones that are useful while animation and is best at right situation, there are a lots of other features,

The subsurf feature allows you to increase or decrease the polygon count in the viewport of the character .Making this feature value to 0 increases the the fps in the viewport and allows you to animate faster and work better/fluently while animating

Here are some miscellaneous features while working with the rig and changing their values manages and changes the rig accordingly to it.

THESE ALL THE SETTINGS CAN BE ACHIEVED BY GOING TO THE "N" PANNEL IN THE RIGHT SIDE AND UNDER "MISC" TAB .

NOTE: THAT TAB IS AVAILABLE ONLY IN "POSE MODE"

If you couln't find these menus in the "n" pannel while bones selected in pose mode then you might have to run the script in the script window.Just select the script named after the rig in the dropdown menu and click that little play arrow and now go back to general tab and see the controls in the misc tab
